river locationthin wallsceiling cobweb
the location near the river was nice. parking was also available..
The room felt quite dated. the walls seemed very thin, i could hear conversations from other rooms quite clearly. also, i found a cobweb in the corner of the ceiling. It was a bit off-putting.

street noiseradiator malfunction
the room faced a rather busy street it seems. so sleeping with the window open was a no go. the noise from passing cars went on until late and started again pretty early. the room temperature was hard to regulate as well the radiator seemed to have a mind of its own.

i found the architecture fine. the setting was also beautiful with the river avon flowing under the hotel. it was a short walk to the city center with views of the cathedral, the walk was lovely.

the architecture is fine with a beautiful setting. i watched the river flow under the hotel it was interesting. the staff were lovely at reception bar and restaurant it was good.
the soundproofing between floors was not ideal making sleep a bit difficult.
